Pack your marmalade sandwich, put on some comfortable shoes and duffle coat (or a rain jacket as it is London after all) and let us take you on a fun-filled tour of sites in the Paddington area.
This walking tour explores both the area of Paddington and its surrounding neighbourhoods such as Paddington Green, Maida Vale, Little Venice and Notting Hill and also celebrates its most notable residents the most famous one being a bear from Peru.
Starting at Paddington Station you can see where Mr and Mrs Brown discover the loveable bear and take him home to live with them, naming him Paddington after the station where he was found.
The tour will include a visit to a statue of Paddington as well as filming and literary locations and give you behind-the-scenes information about how the movies were made and how the character of the bear was born. For those keen enough we will even test your knowledge along the way.
As part of the walking tour, there will be a short bus journey on public transport, so each member of your party will need either an Oystercard, contactless card or a Travelcard valid to travel on the day of the tour in Zones 1-2. The bus will take you to Notting Hill where you can visit the film location for Mr Gruber’s shop in Portobello Road.
